This book was such a tease!!! OMG!!!
I loved everything in this book!!! But I have to say their were a couple of things that left me frustrated 😛

1. Jack and Lilis constant on and off relationship;
OMG how it bugged me 😛 I mean for real!!! It got to the point where I was like “you know what whatever, doesn’t surprise me”, and the worst part about it is that they would take turns doing it, I mean with Jack not getting used to somebody taking control if the relationship, and Lilis status on the internet, ruining her life, how can their relationship not get any more complicated? But that’s ok, they still worked it out in the end (they get engaged 😉

2. This book focused a little too much on the romance between Lili and Jack instead of the competition itself between her father and Jack, I mean seriously???
The contest started HALF WAY THROUGH THE BOOK!! -sigh- but without the building romance of Jack and Lili and all the drama what is this book?? I can’t imagine this book without the drama and romance!!!
So it’s understandable that this book was mostly about that then really cooking, competitions, and kitchen stuff (I should’ve known c: )

3. I didn’t like Lilis ex boyfriend he was a jerk!!! I wanted to hit him across the face with a frying pan!!! (Hoping he gets a concussion 🙂

4. I hated the way people were treating Lili raise of her dating Jack, but you know you expect that right?

And that’s all I can think of, I know it looks like a lot, but trust me it doesn’t affect the awesomeness of this book 🙂

Now, let me give you a short summary;

This book is told in the third persons point of view, in 2 different point of views, one of them is Lili DeLuca who is a photographer, who spends all her time managing her family’s Italian restaurant, instead of following her dream of getting an MFA.
When famous British chef Jack Kilroy unexpectedly challenges her father to a cook-off (that’s when things start to heat up) Lili decides she’s tired of playing it safe and vows to seduce the tempting Brit.
But when her romance starts to build up with Jack, a video of them kissing goes viral and that’s when their relationship starts to get REAL complicated, like to the point where they fight all the time, and they go on and off, that sort of thing.

The second point of view is of Jack Who is a famous British chef. His celebrity status has left him feeling used and used up.
But when he meets Lili, he starts to automatically fall in love with her, and already starts to like the fact that she doesn’t see him as a celebrity, but as a regular human being.
When he meets her he already knows they could be amazing together, if she could only see past his hard, solid, arrogant, king of the world, fan base.

Now as he’s about to start a new prime time TV cooking show (the competition I told you about that rarely focuses on that) he realizes he is going to spend more time with her.
Do you think he succeeds? Even with the obstscles along the way?
(his celebrity status, the fans, publicity, Lilis fathers judgements, Lilis difficult life, the show, their life’s on the line, etc)

Everyone knows the answer to that obviously 🙂
So, this book was a tease for me, fast paced, detailed, has a lot of important conversations, has famous people, lots of drama, relationship problems, a little bit focuses on the kitchen stuff, like the cooking, competition, celebrity fame, etc;

*Highly recommended if you love a fast building relationship with lots of drama, and food :)*
